I heard one of Glyndŵr's intentions was to set up an independant Welsh Church, perhaps that's why he failed. I admire him insomuch as he wished for a Sovereign and United Welsh Kingdom, though I think he may have had God on his side if he kept to his Ancestors' faith, of the One True Catholic and Apostolic Church. Surely I think the Lord would have given more grace to a Catholic Wales against Anglican heretics. Regardless, may God have mercy on his Soul, and may Cymru return to the True Faith, as the Bards and the Mountains sing of.

the defeat was largely due to france suing for peace behind the back of wales, and by the genocidal tactics utilised by henry iv and henry v. it doesn't matter what faith or creed you have, if you're starving to death; though their heresy definitely would have alienated other nations. furthermore, their heresy was largely in part to ensure freedom of welsh tradition and law, as well as welsh freedom from english influence.

What's funny is that people call Wales a celtic nation, The celts were most likely only a part of the foundation of Wales, whereas the un-named natives (Most likely the Prydenii) were here, celebrating the ancestry of Welsh culture until the kent brothers and other barbarians destroyed our history in part also hell I have the same moustache and beard style as Glyndwr in the photos
