Metal and paper filters together. Don’t think so. Also 60 grind setting, that is for cold brew. Hope your filters are better than your coffee equipment knowledge. Just saying.

Hi there, we really appreciate your feedback! For this brew, we used a paper inside the mesh basket to smooth out the coffee’s flavour profile and minimise fines in the final cup. In our experience, the mesh basket can be used with or without paper in the Breville Precision, depending on preference. You’re absolutely right about the grind size-this was an oversight on our part, and we’ll be correcting it shortly. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us; it helps us improve our process!
