Thank you for a really interesting recipe. I’d like to try it and I also have a ZP6. Do you set your 0 point at burr lock or just off chirp as 1zpresso advise? Thanks.

The grinder zero point was not set to burr-chirp or to burr-lock. If calibrated to burr-chirp the grind setting would be 3.5. If set to burr-lock it would have been 4.1.

Why not a v60?

"This recipe is dependent on the location of the ridges on the brewer, assuming that these are the exit points for water from the filter. The V60 has ridges all the way up its inside walls, which leads to more of the brewing water bypassing around the grounds, especially if you fill the brewer quite high. I think this recipe would still work with a V60, but I haven’t tested it. Using a V60 would likely require other adjustments to the recipe to accommodate for the lower extraction and weaker concentration from more bypass. I think a small amount of stirring or swirling of the brewer during the first two pours would be something worth trying." - Erik
