Also worth mentioning the name of this beer is named after Raglan on the West Coast of the North island in NZ, not far from Hamilton. Another very famous surfing beach. Cheers

You got it, I did mean to mention that but it didn’t make the edit unfortunately. Cheers!

Aww, I was hoping for a nice ice cream beer. Sorry, I had to rub in the salt.🤣 Those quick oats don't glug it up too much? I'll have to give it a go after I've finished most of my Roger Roger amber ale. Based on the Little Creatures beer of course. Cheers! and Happy New Year.

GREAT VIDEO! love the content here. Did the brewery give you recipe details? What made you call it an old school neipa? Was that two separate dry hops both after fermentation and at warm temps?
@HomeBrewNetwork26 күн бұрын
Yes all my brewery series recipes are 100% legit. I called it old school because he still does a sub 80c whirlpool, most breweries don't bother, its time consuming and inefficient, it's also dry hopped early in the ferment which a lot of breweries again don't bother with, it's not needed for a hazy beer. On the dry hopping cold it again is inefficient and most at home can't do it correctly because you need to recirculate several times a day to rouse the hops, its too hard at home because you need to remove all the yeast and you need to do it without introducing one bit of oxygen, the pay off isn't worth the effort, the beer is no better. Cheers!

I have a plastic bucket fermenter. And a keg from where i drink. Will I be able to make it? Like cant cold crash in fermenter but will do it in keg and also dry hopping temps would be same as fermenting temps
@HomeBrewNetworkАй бұрын
You need to be careful about oxidation after the fermentation, it will be an oxygen sensitive beer but even something like changing the flaked oats to malted oats will give the beer more protection. It's not impossible you just need to be careful when kegging, no splashing etc

Great video Gavin. I’m gonna brew this one. By the way, where did you get that keg sticker that shows how much beer is inside?
