@@ThisDadGoesTo11Hello it's Friday afternoon here and I have poured a pint of Honey Brown Ale. A very nice beer, I was aiming for a 1.046 SG but my efficiency was up a little and had a start gravity of 1.048 and the 04 yeast did short work bringing the gravity down to 1.011. The Honey malt and fuggles work well together, floral and a little sweetness up front followed by a earthy finish. Cheers from QLD Australia !

Would omitting the crystal 75 have a huge impact on flavor and the finished product? I cannot find a malt locally that's 75L only 120L and 40L. I'm thinking leaving it out rather than going in with less 120L or more 40L would keep it closer to the original flavor?

Hey, there! I would just substitute the same quantity of C40. It wouldn't be identical, but it would be super close. I think it would be just as delicious. You do want a little of that crystal sweetness in there, rather than just relying on the honey malt. If you try it out, let me know what you think! I'm loving having this one on tap. It's a great Fall beer. Thanks for the question, and good luck with the brew! 🍻
