I started listening to this with my oldest son. He would watch episodes in the car while we were going places, so of course I would hear them. A few episodes in, I was dying laughing, because I could relate so much with it. Now, I'm subscribed, and I try to beat my son to be the first one to watch a new episode. He's 16, and will chill on the couch with me and watch multiple episodes and laugh our asses off. Which I love, bc teenagers usually don't want to hang out with their parents. We make BrewStew references in conversations often. People looking at us like we're crazy. I love it!

Ooh, I have something that haunts me to this day. I was at church when I was still back in Elementary, and they would host this raffle and stuff every time for a comfortable seat with a snack and drink instead of sitting on an uncomfortable bench with some linoleum on it. As someone who use to deliver for domino's, when bad weather and blizzards happen our delivery orders triple if not quadruple because they themselves don't want to drive in the bad weather lol

I actually feel bad for kids today - I would have gone nuts if my parents had locked me in the house, made me wear a mask everywhere, etc. It was safer to get in rock fights on train tracks - yeah I got hit by a rock, and my friend got really clobbered one time, but that's nothing compared to being under house arrest 24/7.

I wish I would’ve known how valuable some of those cards could be. When my nephew was living with my parents I used to clean his room, and he had them sprawled all over his bedroom floor. I have so many childhood regrets and honestly ive supressed a lot of them over the year so theres only a couple i can think of. 1. I used to spend the night at my best buddy's (RIP) house a lot of weekends and he happened to live next door to a girl. So me being a little idk maybe 9-12 year old boy decides to start making fun of her from his backyard while she was in her's. She had big teeth and was kind of a goofy looking girl so i was on the other side of the fence calling her bucky beaver and talking about landing 747s on her head. She got so upset she ran inside crying and told her parents what i said, who then came and knocked on my friends door and told his parents what i said. His dad came to be and basically banned me from their house and told me to get picked up. Thankfully his family was like my 2nd family so after a few weeks they forgave me. Came to bite me in the ass years later when i tried to date her best friend in HS (i had NO IDEA this girl i liked was BFFs with the neighbor chick) and apparently when my wannabe gf told her friend about me and what i had said all those years back and the girl i liked told me this and then never talked to me again. 2. Not long after i got my first cell phone (which was on my dads business account so when i called the caller id said the name of my dad and uncles business. For some reason my dumbass 9 year old self thought that since it was on my dads business acct that nothing showed up on caller id when i called from that number. Me and my buddy proceed to start prank calling people and escalating the funny/mean/stupid things we said with every call until i inadvertantly called an old couple and left a message on the machine telling them that they were going to die and/or go to jail if theu didnt return their video rental (yeah wtf idk right? Lol). A couple hours pass and my uncle calls me. He had no idea my dad got me a phone on their joint acct and he starts yelling at me thinking im some hacker or stiminal that stole his caller id to make nefarious calls. Once he knew it was me he went on to say that these old people had called the phone company and then the cops because thwy were so shaken up by our prank message. He made me call them and aplogize and to this day ive never made another random prank call. It made me feel so bad and embarassed 😂
