Places like the Baltic’s, Hungary, Ukraine, Poland etc.. let Putin cry all He wants they lost the war He needs to get over it. Let’s not forget the big picture here. This world will never be safe as long as Russia exists. In 1991 we basically had to pay them to keep the nuclear scientists employed to avoid disasters.Their existence is a threat not only to us but to the world, unfortunately the western education system has failed to hammer this point across to the next generation leading to idiots who question the existence of NATO. To reveal classified information is to endanger American security - and possibly the lives of brave informants who revealed that truth to US intelligence. Snowden deserves to be prosecuted. Assange, on the other hand, is very selective about what he reveals. He is not a brave truth teller who lets the cards fall where they may. He is a willing tool of Putin's propaganda ministry.

There's one at Yale about how the west created Putin that goes beyond this interview. Of course, it's much longer.

Just fair then, that these three parts of Ukraine either became independent, or part of Russia itself, decided upon with referendums. Ukrainians denied them this, and here we are in a big war. It`s not black and white but mostly grey I would say, from an objective point of view. I am a democrat, a libertarian, a person that think people should decide for themselves what they want, if any region in any part of any country wants to be independent or become part of another country they should. Why does "the west" think that it`s ok for Taiwan to be an independent country (yes there is a majority of the people there that wants to) but not the same rule for Crimea, Luhansk and Donbas?? This puzzles me no end, oh, I think I know, it`s in "the west`s interest that all of Ukraine and ultimately Russia should be a part of the economic western world so the multinational companies in USA and EU can freely do what they want with favorable conditions for them to take over the economy in these areas. If the people in these areas want this fair enough, but the Russian people does not want it so I think we should respect that.

@@mikelopia0099 So just as NATO has the right to expand, Russia would have the right to expand, right? Has no sense. NATO lost its main objective which was the USSR(Russia it's not the URSS) . It should have dissolved when it avoided that expansionism. We live in a multipolar world unlike the time of the cold war. And now because of NATO and Russia we are back in a new kind of cold war that could trigger something worse. Putin has spent years calling such NATO expansion a strategic mistake, even saying it simply undermines trust between nations. And to be honest, he was right. I always thought Nigel Farage was an idiot until now. This is the first western politician I've heard using common sense. Unfortunately, the UK chose to team up with the USA. Let's face it. The USA has lost all credibility globally. Outside the west, everyone despises the USA (not the people, but their self-serving warmongering government). They orchestrated the 2014 coup in Ukraine that caused this mess, and then kept flooding this volatile country with weapons to escalate the Ukrainian civil war. They were also involved in at least six coups in Africa recently. Europe, and hopefully also the UK, will have to think about providing their own security. The USA is unreliable, dishonest and their foreign policies are at times immoral. They really need to be controlled because they insist on calling themselves the leader of the free world. There is no such thing. They are not the boss of other countries, and they have frankly become an atrocious example of freedom and democracy.
