I was one of the people who met you at BreyerFest, attending my first BreyerFest ever. When I found out you were going to be there, I knew I had to meet you and talk to you about how much of an impact you have made on me as a customizer - I am so happy that you have found fulfillment through this hobby and been able to achieve your goals, and I know I am definitely not the only one you have helped significantly. Thanks for this video. You are my muse. My first pained horse was a disaster. I stumbled upon your videos one day and everything changed. With your videos I learn so much and my horses are getting better all the time. I've even sold a few. I'm a 72 year old shut in because of agoraphobia, and having my herd of models and learning how to paint them is literally a life saver for me. It helps to relieve my anxiety and depression and YOU are key to maintaining this. Thanks so much for bettering my life! Hugs!

I grew up watching model horse videos on KZbin. It's the first place, and for many years the only place, where I saw people openly as passionate about something as I felt. For 15 years, I dreamed of becoming part of that community. The thing that finally inspired me to take the first step towards that, to upload a video for the first time, was meeting you at breyerfest! Maybe someday I'll manage to connect with people and make friends in this community I've admired for so long. I'm closer to that dream than ever now, thanks to you!

I am a very long time hobbyist, been here since 1988. SO happy to have you with us! I also dabble in another hobby, the SCA, Society for Creative Anachronism, where we dress up and live as a Medieval Village for a weekend. One of my old friends there recently "shamed" me and told me to get out of the house and away from my stupid plastic ponies because it would "do me good". And I was like "good for who? " And this from someone who pretends to be a Viking on the weekends? It really floored me, because if anyone would understand a niche hobby, you would think it would be that person, wouldn't you? I don't know why I told this story, other than that we have each other, and we must stick together, and I so hope to meet you in person some day! ❤❤

It’s been so great to watch your channel grow over the years. The way you talk so confidently about the hobby and shared your experience so openly is what made me able to start KZbin.
