I really do. My old job had me all over the world and I've always tried to immerse myself into the culture. I find it really helps put things into perspective when you try to understand how everyone else lives.

Hey Chris, not drunk by the end of the video? Oh, the marvels of video editing...haha! The children around here are great. Ever since they found out where the "foreigner" lives, they've been congregating outside my door day and night. It's really a funny sight as they're just tall enough where their eyes can see over the top of my screen door panel. I think this might be an interesting video for one of my upcoming episodes :)

Yeah, Filipinos are very welcoming to foreigners, but it also works both ways. If you treat them good, they will treat you better maybe three times more. But also be careful, just like anywhere else, you can't just trust anyone.

Thanks for your concern, but the earthquake actually struck on the lower island of Mindanao, near Surigao City. CNN is reporting there are 6 dead and over 100 hurt. My prayers go out to all those who lost family members and were affected by the disaster. Natural disasters like this are in the back of my mind after moving here in the "Ring of Fire" as its know because of the volcanic activities.
