Brian Burke is a bum. People seem to forget when he was in charge of the Leafs. I saw him twice in real life since then called him a bum both times. I think the second time he remembered the first "bum" I threw at him. Same with Phaneuf.

Was lucky enough to play Rec hockey with Brian when he was is Vancouver. One of the greatest guys I have ever met. Tough, smart, funny and all heart. We all would just sit around, having a cold one, and listen to him tell stories. They were always epic! Your series captures the same tone. Well done!

Now he knows what it feels like to get lapped after doing it to all the other drivers for the last x8 years! We now realized that you can be a fantastic driver, but in order to be GOAT you need the best car. I have yet to see if all the victories he had over the years is because he is miles ahead of everyone else or just lucky to be sitting in a car that was just so good that not being on the podium was a shame! I don’t know about you, but I’m enjoying to see him finally having to show that he is above everyone else but winning with a car that his not the best!

I just came across this channel and might be redundant, but please alert me to any episode with Brian Burke v Toronto Sun columnist Steve Simmons. I happened to be watching the Burke exit interview from the Leafs when he said the best part of losing the job meant he never had to talk to Simmons again. That was a great line delivered to a guy who lacks scruples, in my opinion. Simmons' constant referencing to Burke's drinking habits seemed to me broke a code. No doubt many columnists have a ton of stories to tell about a general manager drinking in a bar, but they don't share them. Judge the guy by his record, not his non-criminal lifestyle.

“No one had ever been suspended for a Stanley Cup Final since Rocket Richard”. Excuse me? The NHL suspended Ed Hospodar for the ENTIRE Stanley Cup final - 7 games - for having the gall to touch a Montreal Canadiens player - the same POS Claude Lemieux in 1987. All because the classless Habs wanted to disrespect the opponent’s net pregame, and the NHL babied them
