The baptism of The Holy Ghost is for sanctification & personal empowerment. Remember He is a gift (JESUS said) that is given to believers that ask & desire Him. He is the source of the oil (the anointing) That yoke destroying, burden removing anointing from Luke 4:18-19. Hallelujah I thank JESUS for His gift of The HOLY Spirit.

None of us are "Saved" until we have endured until the end. You won't endure without the Holy Ghost. Read John 7:37-40 that will tell you if you're saved or not. You believe on Jesus you can't keep the Holy Ghost off of you.

+hi sup That's nice that some people get him so easy. I had been saved for 32 years (1980) before I got baptized at a Donnie Swaggart camp meeting in 2012. God bless you if got it when you got saved; I didn't get it until much later. Now I speak, sing, and pray in tongues. I didn't do that before 2012.

Douglas Goforth awesome testimony it's such an incredible thing to worship God in spirit with the gift of tounges. Like my dad told me when you been baptized in the spirit you know that you know you got it. You don't have to question it. And you will speak from the spirit.
