Brian Fallon music has carried me through good and bad times since I discover The 59 times of sound. I am 40 years old and these songs still resonates within me. The greatest songwriter of our generation.

He can write a song and perform it 1000 times and you get 1000 different little personal versions of his truth and feels like each one is just for you and has a lil different emotion or meaning depending how he performs it...He is amazing! He taught me that "mistakes" are only character and just let it out

Hey I'm Brent. TGA crept up on me. I first heard American Slang and loved the black and white film clip. Very arty. Since then their catalouge has consumed me and I've pretty much watched all available live shows by the band and Brian. Just bought my first GA shirt. I live in Brisbane Australia and i'm an old bloke. actually 50. Born punk. Errr .... love Brian's outlook and the way he carries himself but obviously his talent of songwriting is what drew me in. I have found there is a theme of vampire references through a lot of songs and even his love of them in an interview. Kinda cool. Anyway huge fan. Changed the last years of my life kinda shiz.

Your last sentence absolutely resonates with me. Seriously, Brian Fallon's music is life-changing.
@brentbryan7063 Жыл бұрын
@@chelsearundquist9928 It surely is life changing. I'm still around and remain a huge fan. I'm big on how Brian structures his songs. They are mostly built around the same chord shapes I think. But he has such a talent at using different timing and shape you would not believe it. The bands live stage gear is branded with what looks to be the lightening bolt straight from "Rocky Horror". And he sings about vampire related stuff all the time. Listen to 1000 years and tell me he's not a vamp lol. Seriously quite often he says stuff that leaves me guessing. I just think he's a rockin dude who has lived a life atypical of a rock star. Substances, recovery, technique and outlook I've gleened from interviews. There are a couple that are very insightful into the mind of....

Brian is a like a savant minus the disability part or whatever...I don't mean any disrespect by that, only saying that this cat is a true genius but he's still able somehow to go beyond genius by reaching into the heart of so many....myself included....the gaslight anthem library plays like a soundtrack over my memories and the emotions I've felt and still feel over the years of my own life....it's not so much magic in that it just is, it is as much my life as the old sailor tattoos I got 20 years ago....thanks for uploading this and God Bless you
