I know Brian has said before he reads the comments online sometimes. I hope he sees this one so he knows how his music has touched me and changed my life, for the better. No one else can touch me emotionally the way Brian's music does. His music resonates at the same frequency as my soul.

Hearing these stripped down versions of "The '59 Sound" makes me have an even greater appreciation for one of my favorite albums. In my opinion, Brian Fallon is one of the greatest songwriters of our generation, and I could only hope to ever write a song half as good as anything that he has written.

This album was in my blood and in my soul before I ever heard it. It was love, and confirmation as it played. I get goosebumps just thinking about how this album feels when I hear it. A lot of things fade, but some things never do.

59 sound has always hit a spot in my heart and a tear in my eye, this version on the piano darn near had my balling my eyes out.

Same, when I saw him play it live on piano, I lost it, and bawled like a huge baby

I always change the lyrics to "Did you hear The Safety Dance one last time." My cousin died about 5 years ago and The Safety Dance was her favorite song. She was Grandmama's favorite.

>Brian falls asleep and performs albums in a catatonic state TGA fans: "Wow...simply a masterpiece. I'm taken back to the streets of my youth once again...how can one man be both the greatest musician of all time and the most gifted lyricist ever. 59 sound cured my cancer, and saved my marriage. God bless"

I gotta be honest. As a huge Gaslight and Brian fan I was slightly dissapointed in this stream. Yes I paid for it and just thought there should be a bit better production for a paid event.
@goldenageenthusiast2 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry. I did pay for a show as well but it was last year. For me it was giving back to Brian for all he's done for me. It's hard to make a living during these times.

As ANOTHER huge Gaslight and Brian fan, I kinda agree, but I guess the spontaneity is worth something. Anyways, I'm going to see him live tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

I agree fellas. Check out this link for him exactly a year ago. Same room same shirt same guitar yet different Brian Fallon. It’s like he has a twin or something that is about half as talented as he is. Or maybe health problem. Idk but vocals and guitar do not sound like the same guy as here kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYrVhZJjbpdrbZo
