Yes, a storyteller. Have you ever heard of a high school student who doesn't mention their grade level? I am a freshman at X high school. "I am a high school student. "I wanted to thank you for writing the book." And then interjects: "I did want to tell you, though..." What high school student mentions algebra class? We have Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. Why is a student who hates algebra reading an abstract book about understanding complex algebra? What high school student who hates algebra buys a first edition hardcover of a "science" book? What high school student contacts a professor to tell them about their nose instead of to express interest in studying under them after graduation? I want to get noses in my book... nose. He has never retold this story. So this is just a marketing gimmick intended to induce a psychosomatic "placebo" effect on the audience. The book he is selling at this lecture/book signing/selling event is as valid as that letter he faked, and as believable. The book and the lecture are now completely outdated and have nothing to do with the current state of the subject.
