GREAT REACTION. We all go through life feeling inadequate at times, or not good enough. In addition, we spend much of our lives, wanting to be ACCEPTED. Creep draws out an emotional response from us.

Steve Schachle First of all thanks a lot for watching my reaction and appreciating it...I could relate to his story because I went through the same ordeals once upon a time...His pain could be felt in his voice which gave me goosebumps...I was not out to any of my subs when I recorded this reaction but now am an out and proud gay man...I am from Kolkata , West Bengal...Growing up gay is difficult all over the world and I just wish the coming generations don't have to go through the same :)

THE BONG CONNECTION ... I’m very sorry that you had to go through the same experiences. It’s tough at any age, but especially at a school-age when peer pressure is so dominant, plus you are basically trapped at school where you can’t get away from the taunting or bullying. I also am a gay man, but I did not go through the same experience because I grew up a gay youth in a town of 2,800 people in central Kansas back in the 70s, and the word gay wasn’t even being used back then, at least in central Kansas. Everything was homosexual, and nobody even talked about that, and there wasn’t any sympathy or support or Will & Grace on TV. So I just played the straight role until I graduated high school and then I moved to Dallas the summer after graduation, at age 18, to go to a vocational travel school in lieu of college. That was in 1976, and Dallas being a big city had a good-sized gay population, but everything was still very underground. The first gay disco I went to was in a warehouse with a street number and a lightbulb over it and that’s it. No sign or name of the bar. But luckily I quickly made some good friends, who helped me ease into the gay world, terminology, history, etc. On my trip to India, I visited New Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur and Mumbai (with a side trip to Kathmandu). I have many fond memories and many wonderful pictures from my two weeks back in the 80s. Looking forward to your next reactions and will now go back and look at past reactions and I may even suggest something. Take care, stay safe and healthy during this pandemic. I know this video is 6 yrs ago but I hope you still do reactions. Please react to Rise by Super Fruit, Brian Justin Crum, Mary Lambert, Mario Jose. They do a cover of Katy Perry's song Rise. There was a shooting in America at a The Pulse night club in which 49 people were shot dead and more than 60 injured. Super Fruit Mitch and Scott asked Katy Perry if they could perform it in honor of those who died and she said, do it. They are all from the LGBT+ community and it was beautiful. It gave many survivors comfort in the aftermath. Enjoy!

I've only heard one rendition of "Creep" that I like better than Brian's and that's by Postmodern Jukebox and sang by one of my favorite singers Haley Reinhart. Brian's was emotional, and Haley's was more technical, so I'm not comparing them. Just love them both for different reasons, so you might want to check it out. Also, if you enjoyed Brian's performance, you might want to look up "Rise" with Superfruit, Brian, Mario Jose, and Mary Lambert. I know you'll love that song too.
