I think u are right about building a dynasty.I love when people refer to this guy as a " fraud" because of his record in big bowl games.Bottom line is he was successful at a school in where his hands were tied as far as recruiting options.Now he will be coaching the best athletes In the country.

He's going to recruit the same kind of players that Saban does. That's why Bama is often just so much better than everyone else. Not really because of the talent disparity, but just what they possess mentally, being able to perform under pressure, not making critical mistakes in crunch time, able to handle adversity, etc. You can take a team that has less talent but is mentally superior and beat a superior talented team all day every day. That's what we need at LSU. Players who not only have it physically, but mentally as well because let's all face it, this place is not easy to play for and rightfully so. Their physical deficiencies can be fixed in the weight room and thru other types of training, but if that player doesn't have it mentally, it's not going to work out, especially here.

I grew up In Mt Pleasant, Mi. While my Mom went to School at CMU. Great small town culture around a college that was almost as large in student population as the town itself.

No Brian, it's MONEY that sells me- is more like it. once you remove the shroud of academics, it comes down to gameday coaching in big games, and the track record in big games is not so good. But then again every game is a big game in the SEC. Good Luck, will finally see if he is as good as a gameday coach as a culture builder.
