A normal person doesn’t just happen to keep a criminal defense attorney’s contact info nearby. Yes, it’s your son, so get him a lawyer, but failing to notify the authorities right away is wrong.

@@garykyle4327 Because they were investigated by the FBI. We can't randomly charge people with crimes based on mob mentality. They hired counsel, I'm sure he advised them and made sure they didn't violate any laws.

This is not new information. They knew he had killed her and their only concern was protecting the killer, their son.

I have TOO much to say about this case. I won't rant on and on. I just feel those Laundrie parents should rot in jail for their part of this - they did as much harm as Brian. They are cowards, hiding behind the 4 walls of their house and hiding behind a lawyer with a bad attitude. They should pay for the days and days it took to search for Brian. They should pay for hiding the truth about Gabby's death. The saddest thing about this - and this is the problem with modern society - IT HAPPENED RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR EYES. The whole world watched and the truth is it could have been stopped. When the police stopped Brian and Gabby on the highway - they SAW Gabby was upset. I would have called their parents RIGHT at that moment to come and get them and take them home and have some healthy time apart. They would still be alive today.

Good people would have sat their son down and told him he needed to make a full confession to the police if he had hurt his partner. These clearly were not good people.

Brians parents have paid the ultimate price they lost their son. It seems like Gabbies dad is saying we have had the ultimate loss as well but we want to sue you because the money will help us through our emotional trauma🤔

I don't think it's necessarily all about the money. I think they felt betrayed by Brian's parents. They wouldn't return their calls, help find her, & lawyered up immediately. All the while Gabby's parents were desperately searching for her & they knew she was gone & in WY, but didn't tell them or the authorities. Instead, they went camping with Brian. It's a disgusting thing to do to her parents. I think it's more about the information too. Brian was the one that caused all of this & he shot himself, which is very different than Gabby being murdered by their son. Plus they got to spend time with him before he did it too. I wouldn't judge Gabby's parents. You don't know what they went through. What the Laundry's did was disrespectful & cruel.

Nothing like listening to 4 women comment on something they know nothing about. The law doesn't care about "feelings." Next time could you get a man with some legal or law enforcement background. And be less emotional. That would help, thank you.

If his parents knew he had killed her and still protected him, that speaks volumes about who they are as people. Most likely he was accustomed to getting his way with his misguided parents.
