It cannot be contested that Queen was - and still is - the greatest musical group of all time.

I love Brian's perspective on life as well as all creatures on Earth. He's truly one of a kind. It's so wonderful that both he and Roger still enjoy touring and playing before their fans. Even better that they found a perfect fit in Adam. All I can hope for is a brand new Queen + AL album.

I love Brian's comment "We're still boys inside" I'm so glad Brian & Roger haven't lost their passion for performing. I had the pleasure of seeing Queen & Adam Lambert perform in Dallas 2014 and it was truly one of the best nights of my life!!! ♥ #Queen forever ♥

When I last read Brian ' s comments : BRIAN TALKS he mentioned democracy. But democracy is freedom of choice in every way. Much as I admire Brian & queen I don't agree with telling complete strangers how to live their lives. That ain't democratic Brian. Jr

e plu·ri·bus u·num is a good motto for a democratic nation. Glad it hangs around in the US as our motto. It is also a good description of the complex system of plants and animals, rocks, trees, air and land we are one small part of. Democracy has never been about complete individual freedom; that is anarchy. Individual rights need to be protected--until they those individual rights harm others. I seem to remember from my philosophy class in college (only one!) that that was one of the five basic assumptions of democracy.

If Freddie was around, Lambert would be unemployed right now. All four members of Queen would still be kicking ass. I felt with Paul Rodgers while he wasn't the ideal fit for that spot at least he didn't make a total mockery out of it like they've done with Lambert.
@parkviewmo
@parkviewmo 8 жыл бұрын
+Paul8820 You know, I have some sympathy for your perspective despite being so glad to hear the music played live again. I like Adam Lambert and he does have a great voice. I sometimes think he plays camp a little broadly--and yet--listen to the interviews with Freddy Mercury in his support of George Michael and Boy George--supporting their talent and speaking well of them as they found their way in the music business. We live in a time where gay folks still have to find their identity, and as performers, their authentic presence. I actually think Lambert has moved ahead in that in his solo work. I am glad for him. He is a big talent. Finally, look at the pure joy on Brian May's face playing with the Q+AL configuration. May and Taylor are so damn good, and those songs deserve to be sung. Adam Lambert can actually sing them. Life is complicated and eras change. For me, I can live with the differences (always loving Freddie and that tough-guy, demeanor and brilliant talent) and still enjoy this as something else and now.
