His guitar playing in a song Cyborg (from his solo album Another World) is another side of him! Great tapping and his trademark guitar orchestrations!

This is the FIRST video that I watched 100%. Brian May was my number one guitar hero and i experienced everything I could growing up… which wasn’t like KZbin today. So Ty for the nostalgia. And Ty for bringing your musicality to KZbin and for sharing these masterclasses. Imo you are a true guitar hero, and I’ve heard them all. So thank you x 💯

Dude, can you do one of these on Guthrie? I have been trying to learn his improvised "Fives" solo from JTC for 2 years and I just ca't comprehend how it can be done 🤣😂 In any case, I love your videos, thank you for your insight!

The Brighton Rock Echoplex solo was a masterwork back in the day. I first heard a live version in the early '70s on The King Bisquet Flower Hour. Very creative piece.

As a guitar player that also had his mind blown away by Brian May in the early 90s, I really enjoyed hearing your story man 🤘

Love that solo! One of my other favourite Brian May solos is from The Miracle: Chinese Torture! I remember I couldn't figure out how to get even close to that sound. Years later I managed it with a harmonizer with a +4 and a +7 :) I don't think many people know that Brian May did an album with Eddie Van Halen too: Star Fleet Project. There's some great solos on that!

The segment you’re referring to in the song Invisible Man is not fast enough to be considered shred. Shred can be defined as alternate picking with hand synchronized skills to reach 200bpm while playing 16th notes. This is not even remotely close to that. It is faster than what you would normally see Brian May playing but definitely not shred.
@tommilitello19818 күн бұрын
Lmao you are nobody recognizable enough to make a definition up for what is shredding,fn hilarious though,maybe you should take up comedy and leave the guitar alone

Your comment increased the rate at which my brain rots. Just wow. I'd bet $100 you googled the definition of "shred". You do you, I guess.

Is that AI's definition of shred? Sounds like some AI sh!t right there.

May almost never play good😂 Why you are laying to us? Even at studio records, many soloes sound terrible. For example - chek official record "We will rock you". But maybe May is a composer - if he wrotes his soloes, is good.
