Because as guitarists go, many amateur level players can play this piece with relative ease. Not so many can properly reproduce pieces by guitarists such as Yngwi Malmsteen, Steve Via, or (even harder) touch technique players. Not taking anything away from Brian, but he knows how "hard" this is to play. On the other hand, writing such a melodic piece as this is a different story! :)

Hi Brian, I remember me being on board KLM flight from Amsterdam to Los Angeles. On the upper deck business class of a Boeiing 747 maybe around 1993 (i lost that detail) . It was half empty and I had a chance to talk to you. I will never forget we shared a couple of thoughts over Freddy, children and my child I was going to visit in SFO. It was my only chance to ever meet you but felt just as down to earth as you are then and totally forgot ( I even found it perhaps childish) to ask for your precious autograph. Until today I cherish these wonderful moments with you there. Regretfully living,, almost being 69 now , without having the tangible memory in hand. God bless you. I am 53. When I was 12 a friend loaned me news of the world, an 8 track. I put it on and caught the,2nd half of my melancholy blues. I had never heard chords like that in my life. Blew me away. So the song ended, I immediately went straight back to track 4 so I could hear it again. I had to listen to it's late first though. Blown away. Life changing stuff. Since then I’ve lived my own interesting life including 30 years as a police officer / detective (moved down to London) and have never lost that deep sense of being impressed and captivated whenever I hear your music. Whatever you think yourself, I can assure you that you are one of the world’s most influential and cherished musicians. Thank you for making such amazing music, and such a great person. This is truly magnanimous of you Brian. So many of us have been watching you for years and listening to the wonderful music you create. Thanks so much for your time sir. I'm going to purchase a copy of your guitar 🎸 and have my brother (who is a professional guitarist) play it on our channel. We are not monetized, and are quite a small channel. We tend to give guitars away to people who need them and have aptitude at playing them. I spoke with my brother just moments after posting this, and he told me that you are in the hospital having suffered a heart attack. I want to offer a prayer for you Brian. Dear lord we pray for the quick recovery of this man who has unpretentiously given of his time and unselfishly showed us in this single video what a "regular fellow " he is. Please bring him home that we may enjoy many more years of interaction with him. This moment is truly special to us. In Jesus precious and holy name we pray. Amen 🙏

I have to basically pinch myself knowing that I'm not dreaming - this is The Brian May giving us this tutorial. We are not worthy!!! You said- "I'm not the world's greatest technical guitar player" - so humble... you are right up there with revered timeless legends of guitar players... and yet you seem so humble, down to Earth kind of guy. This July I was looking forward to watching Queen with my girlfriend in Madrid and watching this Guitar God of a guy on stage! This has been postponed for 2021 apparently due to the virus outbreak. Really appreciate this video... I hope you get better very soon. Rock N Roll!! - by the way you should do a show in Gibraltar (I'm from there)!
