My Dad has a massive 4 vessel MI (heart attack) 15 years ago. He coded 13 times, had a 4 vessel BEATING HEART CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft). He’s alive and well today. Great message Brian!

I was sorry to hear of your recent heart problems following your spinal pain. I am a retired nurse who worked in the field of Psychiatry for 40 years in the UK, then moved to New Zealand. I had my spine fractured at work so can understand your unbearable pain. I,m so glad you have recovered and continue to keep me entertained during this awful period of Covid 19. it must be frustrating for you not being able to group together with your family and friends. Tremendously IMPORTANT message.....thank you! As a RN and a fellow stent patient.....people need to listen, time is of great importance, get HELP! Also take your meds and do your cardiac rehab!! Prayers for your sciatica to knock it off! Try inversion therapy......get those vertebrae off that nerve.....decompress, you will feel so much better......😘👑❤️👑❤️

Oh Brian, So glad you made this video. Yes, yes, yes; call whatever emergency contact if you think you are having chest pain. “Time IS Muscle” was the hospital’s slogan that was used when we were asking the State of SC, in the USA, for license to do stents, open heart, etc. We got it. That was back in 1993 or so. I am now a retired RN. So thankful you did not hesitate. God’s continued blessings.

Hear hear! My dad went through the same on Christmas - felt some pain, uncomfortable, not feeling well. Family has a history of heart disease so we decided to go to the hospital. He actually walked in and calmly told a nurse "Excuse me, I believe I'm having a heart attack". One angioplasty and three stents later, 2 days in hospital in observation (one in ICU and one in normal bed) and he was back home. It could have been a lot worse and more dramatic. So pay attention to what Brian said, and if you believe you're having a heart attack, please go. The risk is far too great not to! And Brian, thank you for that, stay safe and take it easy for the next few months! We want to see you back on stage, but not at such a cost!

Brian, Thank you for posting your advice and experiences about Heart Attacks, and for making people aware of the things they can/must-do during this Pandemic, if they suspect that they or someone they know is experiencing the symptoms of a Heart Attack. I myself suffered a major heart attack 10 years ago at the age of 52 and had one Stent fitted. I was a professional self-defence instructor at the time (I retired in 2013 after 34 years service) and very physically fit. When I asked the heart surgeon, Dr Lindsay Morrison, what he thought had caused my heart attack, he said: "Undoubtedly, Stress" eg. My job! he also said that had I not been so physically fit that we would not be having this conversation. So, Brian, I have complete empathy for what you have experienced, and for me, it was the most frightening experience of my life. But now 10 years on and still taking my medication! I consider myself to be very lucky and I am eternally thankful to Dr Lindsay Morrison from the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in Broadgreen Hospital for saving my life, for his expertise as a Surgeon, for his support and aftercare. Thank You, Brian, for the wonderful musical gifts that you have given to us all over the years and long may it continue. I'm glad that you are now on the road to full recovery, take things slowly! and please don't be tempted to rush things. I look forward to hearing your future reports about your progress on the road to recovery. Please take good care of yourself. All the very best to you and your family. Ross

When I read that he had a heart attack, I was shocked and totally done. I had tears in my eyes and thought about what could have happened and wondered what I should do if he died. I probably would have crawled into bed crying for days. But in this case he really had a guardian angel. 😥❤🤘
