Brian meets Javi the Toymaker | Argentina's Eco-Warrior, Zero-Waste Toymaker

Javi is the most creative and authentic zero waste, recycling, eco-warrior ambassador I’ve ever met. He uses his art, creativity and engineering genius to pull treasures (trash) out of the waste stream and create toys, games and books. Tucked away in a small house in the woods in Cordoba, Argentina with Toña, his partner in life and art, the two of them create art from dawn to dusk. Javi tucked away in his workshop out the back and Toña in the sun filled front room.
Cordoba, and specifically the town of Unquillo, is clearly a destination for artists and creatives of all stripes. In my short stay in Unquillo I spent time with many people like Javi and Toña, those that are committed to creating art while serving the broader community.
