@T West They have a concept of what's going on, kids aren't dumb. They need to be taught to behave and learn about being polite....just because they haven't been taught it before doesnt mean anything. When they act like that it's an important teaching moment to tell them not to. They were being obnoxious, I don't know why out of all those adults someone didn't set them straight.

Exactly - not disciplining kids is how you get them to fail later in life. Kids need to be taught that they need to shut up sometimes or else it'll come back to bite them later in life when they haven't developed proper social etiquette (not learning *when* to shut the fuck up).
@stewrmo

Amen! Not gonna lie, when I see lots of kids on these videos I think "ahh hell". I know they don't understand what's going on, and having your kids next to you for important events must be beautiful, but they are more excited by the balloons lol. If it was me I know I would want to do this myself, giving me time to get used to them. Then again, I am a grumpy, anti-social bugger. So I'll say to the family, I love these videos, congratulations on them working, you have a beautiful family. Love from Scotland.

He's seeing the vivid color that we all take for granted, for the first time. As he said, red looked like a muddy brown before, and people looked colorless, since he couldn't see the red undertones to skin. Others who've tried them marvel at how much more detailed everything looks, since they're seeing shades of color for the first time. I can't imagine living in a sketch of life. No wonder most cry upon really seeing color for the first time.

Sarah Dixon what's wrong with crying in public? People care way too much about what others think nowadays. If the people around knew what was going on-and were good kind people, I bet they'd cry right along with them. I know I would, but then again I cry at commercials

" My world was Grey until Beautiful gusts of colors blew in.." Perfect title for you.. How amazing. You have such a loving supportive family. How wonderful for your parents were to give you such a great gift. Enjoy the colors.

Amazing the things we take for granted, so glad they’ve been able to create those glasses, maybe in a few years they will be able to come up with a permanent solution. Until then congrats to Brian!

I would love to have shared Brian’s experience the first time he saw a sunset while wearing those glasses! I have done cross stitch, needlepoint, and other kinds of hand needlework for over 45 years, and the peace I get from these hobbies has literally saved my life on several occasions and brings me tremendous joy on a daily basis. I would be absolutely LOST without the ability to differentiate among colors and to appreciate their slightest differences ... So I found this video ENORMOUSLY moving, especially when Brian tried to describe how vivid skin color looks with the glasses on vs. how dull skin looks without them. THANK YOU for sharing this video!!!

@New Dave So you can realise his natural vision sucks? Ignorance is bliss? You look stupid wearing sunglasses indoors? Thank God you are not my father or brother because your not much of a role model. I'm just trying to fathom your lame responses. You can buy these enchroma glasses that are not sunglasses but so what if you wear them indoors? It's no different then people wearing a hat indoors. I assume you also think that a person with a prosthetic leg looks stupid too.

Super rude for people to just be like “hey, these were literally given to you 30 seconds ago, let me continuously ask if i can try them even though i dont need them just for my own satisfaction.” Really people? Let the man enjoy the new world hes finally able to see. He lived his whole life in monochrome or extremely dull colors and the second hes given the gift of color sight you dont want to let him enjoy it and appreciate all the beautiful things he sees. Selfish ass human beings. Im happy this man is finally able to see color.
