The performance of his life. Literally. Belting his heart out to an empty theater, to deliver hope. We need hope.

I liked it somehow better when he sang it in character,...The performance he gave at the Tony Awards, was so much more powerful.
@feelthejoy2 жыл бұрын
@@mementomori4972 uh that was almost 20 years ago. Are you seriously trying to compare the two performances?? His vocals are virtually untouched despite age and COVID. Take several seats.
@mementomori49722 жыл бұрын
@@feelthejoy Why do you act like it was a personal attack on him? I only said that I liked the other performance better. Not necessarily because of his voice, but mainly because it was simply a different and richer instrumental arrangement, another version of the song and also completely different acoustics, which resulted in a more powerful performance in general. Just take your uneducated, pretentious opinion and shove it up your arrogant ass. I seriously can't stand people, who are offended just for the sake of it.

@@feelthejoy So rude. Read the comment again. No comparison was made on the basis of age.

To dream the impossible dream To fight the unbeatable foe To bear with unbearable sorrow To run where the brave dare not go To right the unrightable wrong To love pure and chaste from afar To try when your arms are too weary To reach the unreachable star This is my quest, to follow that star, No matter how hopeless, no matter how far To fight for the right without question or cause To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause And I know if I'll only be true to this glorious quest That my heart will lie peaceful and calm when I'm laid to my rest And the world will be better for this That one man scorned and covered with scars Still strove with his last ounce of courage To fight the unbeatable foe, to reach the unreachable st
