This is powerful. He provides information that is applicable. He tells you what to do and how to it. The did get blurry. If that part is fixed, it will be very effective.

I do cold call sales very few people can actually put up the numbers that I do this info will get you paid the I use the exact same techniques but I never touch a phone..Timing, persistence and technique has been my key and it does open doors..

Presentation is important. I advise my clients the same thing. The product sold here is sales training. They'd like me to buy more, but, their pitch is a grainy VHS over twenty years old. How does that look to you?

Steven Schiffman has a lot of books, or portions of books, which address getting around the gatekeeper. As he explained, the great prospects are the ones that are hard to reach. As BT says in another tape, most decision makers are the boss, and the bosses are often in before work, and stay after. As a result, they often are the ones answering the phone, esp with small businesses. Call the office before and after the regular work day, you'll get results. Often works for me.

Key take away for me is - sell an appointment over the phone, not the product. Only bit missing for me is - how do you know its going to be a good appointment?
@TomFuszard11 жыл бұрын
Good suggestions for overcoming the hesitant prospect. Ideally, the whole scenario is a little "warmer" than that. Try to establish some contact before calling. Could be during a networking event or some other program that brings business people together. Brian's good, though. The fundamentals of sales don't change much. (Give or take the use of cold calling.)

Daddyleon, the real reason they make best customers is most probably because the competition will have to fight hard to take it away from you once you have landed the sale.

Hello from 12 years in the future, However that to me does not sound like a good fit for you to work with them. Remember, always go into a negotiation as the BUYER, not the seller. You want to hold the power to ultimately decide whether or not you want to work with the prospect. Having the power to say, "you know what? I don't think we're going to be a good fit together. Thank you for your time" is very powerful

FHTM is no longer authorized to use the DuPont name, logo, or trademark in any way. FHTM and each FHTM Independent Representative should immediately discontinue the use of any materials containing the DuPont logo. Our right to use DuPont’s name, logo and trademark was revoked because FHTM Representatives abused the FHTM Marketing Policy by creating and distributing unapproved marketing materials that displayed the DuPont logo.

How do you do "cold call sales' , say you use these phone techniques, and yet never touch a phone?

Telephone sales people selling products people don't want. That's why anybody who's in charge doesn't give out their telephone number publicly these days.

Tell me - what about the date of the recording makes this information invalid? It seems to me you may have a poor attitude. That will be much harder to continue with and adjust to while making sales, than would be a few 'outdated' techniques based on universal principles. Just sayin ~

selling in 10 minutes, I just want 10 minutes, in 10 minutes, I will show you our products, if it doesn't what you are looking for, it doesn't cost you anything. you need to have an appointment and that's is the moment you have to have an appointment, who is the person decide the deals, can I have his own contact and discuss with him about our products, what is his full name and can I have his phone number. tomorrow or afternoon ( be flexible, just ten 10 minutes and I show you everything). When I can have an appointment, I will succeed in the future. Not email, email is one of the bad thing. you will not sell anything if you thing that you use email to sell thing.
