A two panel sliding window would be very useful

Not too sure about this. There are a few different sliding windows in Revit family folder, have you checked that?

Yes I have, but there's no family or tutorial that I've found that one panel is operable/parametric. Meaning that you can have a parameter which opens or closes that panel from 0% to 100%

I'm not sure how to design a high rise tower... But if you have a design, I can probably model it. :)
