This kinda relates to a story 50 told in a different interview. When he was speaking on his lil beef with Dre, especially over The Games contract. The deal was supposed to be split with Dre, 50 & Em. Somehow on the final contract, Em got cut out. Fif didn't like it, went to Em & tried to give him half his cut. Em said, no you keep it, you earned it. Estimated to be worth close to 20 milly.. Another reason why 50 has so much respect, appreciation & most importantly Trust in Em. Entertainment is an ugly business & you don't usually get that type of loyalty & trust.

Well put! Rap made him RICH, but stepping away made him WEALTHY. Rap was just his launch pad. It gave him the platform. The same year he dropped Get Rich or Die Trying (2003) he made $80M off the Reebok sneaker deal then he parlayed the success of that into the $100M Vitamin Water deal, et. al. 50 cents, you are a truth speaker in this interview about how we must show up and be ready for anything in this life. This is true. When the mind is negative, we must remember it is feeding our past regrets, hurts, old pain, wounds that all turns into hate for the one to carry. Now, that is for the one to carry, not for the one to try and give that hate, disguised as negativity to the people of the present and future. To get rid of the that hate so you will never pass it to the present and future people. The negative one must forgive themselves, all of the past people and situation involved and in that next second DO SOMETHING POSITIVE. This will make you happy and as you continue to fill yourself up with positivity, one day someone may bring up the negative past and you will start laughing and let them know “l have forgive the past do you have anything else you want to talk about.” The individual will either bring up another subject or walk away. Either way is good for the one that has the courage to change their negative mindset into a positive mindset. May we be safe and find peace in every moment.

"The people closet to me (parents) that I felt like possible owe me something, disappointed me years ago. So today when people let me down, it's already repetitive, and I'm already immune to it. That makes your job of disappointing me a little harder. I told this to my ex girlfriend a few days ago this is how I handle things and I may come off a little heartless. I also don't have any parents or family and had to raise myself. I'm also becoming pretty successful. Leaving the nest early will make you or break you it all depends on how bad you want to survive.
@BrianJRoberts3 жыл бұрын
That part of the interview really struck me, and I was fortunate to grow up with both my parents, who were both attentive and loving. But my wife grew up in similar circumstances to you and 50. She started working at 14, kept the same job for years, and always had to rely on herself because she didn’t have anyone. She’s the most self-sufficient, responsible person I know. I’d ask her when we were younger “How do you get up, work hard and never complain?” She said something similar to 50: “Because nobody is going to get up and do it for me, so if I don’t do it, it doesn’t get done.”
@BrianJRoberts3 жыл бұрын
My dad died when I was 22 and we moved out shortly after. It was traumatic, and leaving the nest early would’ve broken me had I not had her. She was conditioned for it, because she was used to providing for herself 100% and being independent. In time, those self-sufficient qualities rubbed off on me. But it was a learning curve for someone raised like me.

You are a great interviewer, great questions and you actually let him speak. You were actively listening so the next question just flowed naturally. It felt like a good conversation rather than an actual interview. Great job!

And you are not intimidated by Fifty cent. He would have been intimidating to me with all the bragging but you are cool. That’s good. You also don’t speak to him like a fan, oowing and wowing.

This man….i’m just always in ahhh anytime I hear him speak!! So intelligent with wisdom and soft spoken. I felt in my heart he was going to say the best thing for him was his relationship with Em, and he did and my heart still fluttered. I always love hearing him, as well as Em speak and could just listen for hours.

I remenber hearing 50 cent for the first time. I was in football camp and this kid said listen to this guy. I never heard anything like it, beyond refreshing seeing Puffy had such a long run. It was around the power of the dolar album. From then this man been sromping the industry with ease.

When Jay-Z did an interview with Power 105.1 he talked about how he warned the whole Roc roster before 50 dropped his debut that he was going to shake the game up. Power Of The Dollar album was incredible, and G.R.O.D.T. is a certified classic. Everybody remembers the first time they heard 50. Agree with you, was refreshing.

The other day I woke up wondering why I felt like I had one dream after another & Fifty was in all of them. I had no recollection of what I saw except that he seemed to be the person that stayed with me. This morning I opened KZbin & saw an interview Fifty had done. Out of curiosity I clicked on it and it was exactly what I needed to hear at that moment. I ended up watching three different interviews he'd done and at the end of the last one was when I remembered seeing him in my dreams literally three days ago. The dreams were a type of foresight about what I would do three days later. Fearlessness can be seen as a gift. I've always seen my own fearlessness as such because it has always felt like a power that is greater than I am. It is potent. Now I see that it is the power of life. A power that is so potent that it propels you forward even when you feel helpless. Knowing that you are fully engaged & doing your part to the fullest. Things will work out just fine. Your fearlessness is faith. The life force, the power of the breath of God that propels you through this physical world and beyond. Thanks to the creator of this channel and to Fifty for sharing this work. Peace.

Extra tip: Train against multiple opponents at the same time. So when a fight happens you are not focused on only 1 person, but prepared always from more than 1. When doing submissions, chokes, etc, always try to implement a 2nd(or more) attacker coming to get you from behind or rear, this way you will be at least somewhat prepared not to get bad surprises. Cause often on the streets or other places, where you might be attacked or in a fight, people will have others with them.
