So awesome thank you for giving me the memories of my mom and dad's trips that could take 20 minutes on the highway.... But they would take 2 hours through the back road so we could listen to the country music... ❤ I wish so much I could relive those memories

Reminds me of my childhood, climbing trees, my mother yelling for me, fishing at the creek and my dad would pick me up in his truck and I'd jump in the back, wind in my face. Oh that little boy remembers his love of growing up, my parents so loving. Thank you mom and dad!! I never forget.........

This song touched my heart years ago and is still resonating with me today. Personally I think it may be one of the best written songs of all time. Craig has a voice that can take you there and make you feel the what he is singing. This song reminds me of my grandfather growing up on the creek banks in West Virginia. He is really sick now and I know the time is coming. So just hang in there a little bit longer Pap you are Almost Home.
