All i am going to say is that bass fishing for a living is a damn grind dude. Not enough quality sleep, fish are there one day gone the next etc etc. Family support is so so important. And you have done the right thing by getting them involved with what you are doing. Sometimes getting home seeing the family is the best part of the tournament.

Bro, everytime Ive been to Pickwick....there has been massive storms. Earlier this year at the hobie opens, they were saying they might have to evacuate the campgrounds.....I woke up on morning 2 of tourney with my air mattress floating in an inch of water......and my tent is made to withstand heavy weather.....its just the ground got so saturated. All my clothes and backpack in water.....I grabbed up my gear and threw it in truck and drove home, didn't even fish day 2.....cus I ripped a huge tear in my rain suit day 1 on the water, i wsnt bout to be miserable day 2 plus I did very poorly on day 1.
