This is one of my favourite COD games of all time. It really didn't get the recognition it should have. They brought back the WW2 theme and people didn't take to it. I personally love the ww2 theme. Always have

I was born just after the end of WWII. We knew from the personal war stories of others, in the neighborhood, that the M1 Garand was one heavy motha', to carry around: but, it was GI (which meant "Government Issue"). And, yes, it was chambered for the .30-06 caliber cartridge, which was an excellent choice, as it was very "flat shooting" (i.e., had a very flat trajectory, easily out to 150 yards: and farther, if you put a scope on it). A lot of hunters, even today, prefer the .30-06 for their scoped rifles. (The Garand... pronounced GAIR-end... was a semi-automatic rifle, as opposed to the German Army standard-issue, bolt-action 8mm Mauser.) I loved seeing those .45-caliber "Tommy guns" (Thompson machine guns that Al Capone's era made famous) that some of our infantry carried, during the war. The "50-round drum" of mobster fame was not as prevalent in the war, though, as the one with a 20-round box magazine seemed to be more utilitarian (practical). P.S.: I prefer calling anything that "shoves up from underneath the chamber" a "clip", not a "magazine". In the 1950's, I almost bought a .30-caliber M1 carbine (with a 30-shot "clip") from the surplus store, in our town. >>>Note: the sear pin, in all those surplus war rifles that were manufactured to be fully automatic, was replaced, so they would only fire as semi-automatic hunting rifles. But, we knew how to file down the sear pin, to turn them back into full-auto. That was my generation!

Both my grandfather's from both sides fought in ww2 , one was a marine and other was airborne, my airborne grandfather fought in battle of the bulge, was partially hit by mine explosion and then captured by nazi's, he survived all that ,then came home had my dad ,and my other one he was on the beach you just played, and survived I don't think alot of people understand what ptsd really dose to people. I actually was donating service dogs for couple years 3 litters ,then I didn't want to put my dog through anymore, and I still am in contact with all the veterans, some thank so much and tried to pay me ,but I wouldn't take anything because as Americans it's our duty to take of veterans as they put their life's out for us ,veterans do not get Half enough in my opinion, my buddy has to Fricken pay taxes out of his benefits, he was in Afghanistan, shit is crazy.

This was a great campaign and a great COD overall which got way more hate than it deserved. Gonna have to redownload this and give it another playthrough.

The game looks awesome graphic wise, I couldn't stand the QTE's, I hate them on any game but FPS games in particular, let ME take the enemies how I want, it breaks immersion and in higher difficulty if you miss the QTE's have to repeat to keep through the game, it sucks for me and didn't get to half the game put it down. I must be getting old or something... I enjoyed World at War, MOH Airborne etc but the new titles not that much.

I actually really enjoyed your play through, must say when I tried it was on PS4 and I suck with controller ;) at the time game wasn't available to buy on steam in China, so it was console border nothing for me... now is possible but it's so expensive, for now I will watch you play it, thanks, take care, Cheers!!
