The Japanese VA did give her wayyyy too big of a role to fill. She did fine and her speech was sooo sweeter than the japanese VAs soul crushing perfectness. English dubs usually have a hard time to resemblence the performance due to mostly having to be "in sync" to the lip flaps. But she did a great job being REM. Im sad we probably wont see any of REM in S2 (I read the novels) but hope shes still interested in working the dub in S3 because she did do a great job!

Do they not just edit the mouth animation? Plus I think it's okay to be different. Voice actors have the right to make their character their own, there is no right. I've seen both the Japanese and English play characters slightly differently but they both work well.

The only time I remember Brianna Knickerbocker do actual singing in an anime was episode 4 of Yuki Yuna Is A hero as Itsuki Inubozaki. Otherwise, I can't recall any other time she actually sang in an actual anime. Problem is, its a rare thing for any English voice actor to sing in an anime these days. Dubbing staff most of the time leave all singing of any kind to the original Japanese singers for some reason. I hope she can do more singing in anime, and speak up to the dubbing staff about doing it.
