You’ve inspired me to start keeping a monthly budget! It’s just me and I’ve always just let things exist but as I get older I want to keep a better track of my money, I’m calling in greater abundance and that starts with me respecting the abundance I have been given! I enjoyed this 💞☺️ definitely a big "woah" moment for me though because your expenses here were way way higher than July's reset video. The variation made me realize I need to be more diligent with my budgeting and self-control lol. Because things change and some months may need a lot more.

Yeah, it was scary making the budget for September, but there are so many birthdays for my kids’ friends and then the kids have their bdays and new activities. 😭 it’s better to kinda know and plan out each month as it goes, so you’re not shocked too badly.

Your budgeting/spending habits is so inspiring! Does Misc. Include getting your hair done and going out with friends, buying clothes for yourself , etc.? And do you pull the savings each month into separate saving areas (vacation, fun money, etc.)?

Thank you! We try our best. And yes, miscellaneous includes all those things. We have one savings, but we have everything on an excel sheet telling us what amounts are where (kids, vacations, emergency) ❤️

I'm jealous of how little you spend per month. I would love some tips on how you have so much self-control with your spending. For me, the more I make the more I spend. It's really hard for me to hold back. I started using a budget spreadsheet in August and it's helpful to see the numbers in front of me but it's still difficult to say no to shopping, traveling, ordering food, nights out with friends etc. I also LOVE spoiling my kids.

So when you are adding in the “actual” spending column, are you just going through your bank account line by line from the past month to see like how much takeout was spent, how much on groceries? Or do you track it as you spend it? That’s the part of budgeting that always confuses me

Yes! I add up all our expenses and input them in that column. I usually write everything onto an expense tracker each week to see where we are at, and add everything up at end of month!

Good video your great at budgeting. We are getting way better at budgeting the money my husband got a raise at his job in July so that's really good .also we have been working on getting his daughter here from the Philippines she's going to be her very soon we have a appointment this Wednesday to send the package to the Philippines to here after she gets her interview and physical it won't be that long she will be her . We are excited about that she's .me and tommy went to the movies Sunday to see teenage mutant ninja turtles he wanted to see it it was funny he enjoyed it alot we plan on doing that a little more my husband he's works a double shift on Sundays so me and tommy decided to see a movie first time to a movie just me and tommy . You should take your kids to see that movie they would enjoy it alot . Have a great day 😊💞 oh his daughter she's 21 years old I forget to mention that .
