This is a good example of how long FMS will sell and support their models. I think this plane came out back in 2012. The retracts are really nice for a little 1M. The P-39 is a very cool plane with an interesting history.

And next on my "want" list is a yellow plane. You know my space limitations and I believe that plane will fill my "want" but differentially don't need desire. 😆 As always, Camera Crew did an amazing job. Definitely the next plane I’m getting. I have the 1100mm Voodoo, Strega and Diego Red. These planes are fast and nimble. Definitely not a beginner plane fellas. Still have my Eflite P-39, always goes to the field with me. Brian and Megan (Camera Crew) another awesome video guys thank you. 👍

FMS P-39 Racing Cobra Maiden completed... Flies GREAT, very quick, super quiet but very touchy on the controls, landing wasn't too bad, I'm sure after I adjust Rates/expo and getting a bit more experience with it I'll be fine! Very cool plane!

Great flying and video work as always! The little P-39 looks nice but not as fast as I expected. Have you ever considered getting a small gps unit to provide speed information. I know your loyal viewers would love that data, especially on faster models.

Hi Brian. I see Horizon/Tower show the new Hobby Wing Skywalker V2 ESC’s on pre order. These ESC’s feature thrust reversing and look like they would be a great upgrade for many models that could use the thrust reversing feature. I would love to see you review them and make a set up video, etc….😀

If they don't have the YELLOW WIRE, I don't think you can't do it "on the fly". You CAN make them do Thrust Reverse if there's a wire Yellow, single pin ended wire attached, and we HAVE...check out the FMS 1.4m T-28 to see how we did it. I believe there's some choices out there, but not always stock in the PNP planes.

Hi Brian, I am wondering if you can tell me the best course of action to take on my FMS 980mm P39. I ordered one from FMS and received it. When I opened the box and looked the fuselage, the Reflex v2 was hanging loose. I can't seem to find anything on where or what direction it should be mounted in. I can and will use if need be, a Spektrum AR631 receiver so I have stabilization, but I would really prefer to use the Reflex and just set it to stabilized mode as you've demonstrated in different planes and videos thus saving my 631 receiver for another plane and just use a non-AS3X receiver. In it. Do you know of any information source I can access to find out? Thanks, Randy from MN
