I like being the center of attention, and don't mind making a fool of myself. Not for everyone ;) But I do love this hobby, and LOVE to share it with others too! Glad you're here with us John - good luck with your Tx decision. It's not an easy one to swallow - lot of cash.

Hey Brian, Love your flight demos. I am enjoying the Blade helis, do you reccomend this xk ki124 as a start in scale helis? I am hoping not to have to tinker as much as you had to if I order one - do you think most of them would fly ok out of the box or are they all in need of tinkering? Just finished overhauling my xk cub - tail heavy and too twitchy = death spiral but no more with adjustments. Happy flying Chris

One question. Does anyone know where to get the battery from for the helicopter and does it have to be the same as the one that came with it?
Hi Brian, ✅ I’m sure I watched a video of you flying the XK K124 EC145 while sitting on your sofa:) You had it perfectly stable and tame for a slow indoor flight. D’you have the link or was I imagining it lol?
@@BrianPhillipsRC Hey buddy, I think you misunderstood, I meant the KZbin link to your video where you’d set up the XK K124 and you had it flying really calm & docile INDOORS. It could’ve been someone else but I’m sure it was you?? 🚁👍🏻🌈

How tough is it? Other than flying it into a wall at full speed.
@BrianPhillipsRC5 жыл бұрын
It's surprisingly tough! I've had a few unscheduled "landings" into grass, and minutes later, I'm flying again! It won't hold up to a direct wall impact, but it will survive quite a fall! It's kind of amazing!

Brian Phillips I noticed you reply to everyone and that is a cool thing so thanks for the reply and info.
@BrianPhillipsRC5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for noticing Dan! I do try to reply to every comment. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, but I enjoy interacting with our audience - we have a very good audience! We're very fortunate to have this platform, and I really do get into this stuff. The other day, I had carpet guys out fixing some warranty stuff (on the new house there was a messed up step) and when they were done, they were asking about my planes....long story short, the guys ended up leaving a few hours later, after flying for them a few plane, and having them check out a Sport Cub S UMX. What you see here on the channel, I've done in person for kids at the part, and a few old folks communities, and friendly neighbors with foreign exchange students in tow. I really enjoy sharing the joy of this hobby! I also get a kick out of showing that it can be done, after all, I've only been flying for about 4.5 years.

I think you can change the settings to help, but I'm not expert enough on how to do it to tell you what to do. I'm sorry!

I suggest you look to your T.curve setting 1@00,2@40-45,3@50-55,4@55-60,5@60-70..and also your P.curve setting 1@40,2@55,3@60,4@70,5@75...this setting should be well compromise relationship of both throttle & pitch and results in smooth flying all around.

For xk 123 A 350 & xk c 145 k 124 ... owners... especially These TX settings will ease out your flying control and gradually merge you and the tiny copter into familiarity stage to each other and Will lead you to furthermore control setting adjust to suit your preference.. For 6G flying mode. T.curve 1 = 00 P.curve =40 2 = 50 =45 3 = 60 =55 4 = 65 =60 5 = 75 =70. D/R Low rate 1=80. High rate=100 2=80 =100 3=80 =100 Above settings will ease out your flight in moderate speed not too fast and not too slow and also smooth Hoovering and landing...try this out.
@zq3cKvb86 жыл бұрын
For xk k123-124 owners A must have tool you needed to optimize the performance of these micro copter is a CNC ROTER BLADES LEVELER from XTREME..that can get it from ebay.. just type Extreme swash plate leveling tool leveler EA-069 cost around 12-15$..this is use to leveling the awash plate so that it rotates levely and all blades are in the same pitch angles result in very stable hoovering and frying all around. This never been mentioned in the manual because the manufacturer don't want you to know and then you can easily lost the control and crash and end up with buying a new one.try this out.!

It's very impressive to watch these 3D heli pilots, but for me, I want to fly in a scale looking way...as much of the "Cool" factor is lost for me when I see the heli flying upside down for long periods of time.

I bought a very nice and expensive quad but sold it after about a month. To easy to fly and no challenge. Plus it depends on software and when (not if) that takes a crap it can fly off and you had better hope it doesn't hurt or kill anyone. To much liability. Plus people are very quad unfriendly.
