Break down cut quality and speed between the zero turn and walk behind. I can see the walk behind might save some trim work under some low hanging branches but overall it seems that the Lazer Z would be worth the extra money on speed/performance alone. I’ve used 42” to 60” mowers, and the 60” is my favorite for fewer passes to mow. The 42” is better for saving trim time, but my time is saved by the 60” cut in my opinion. You have advice on the situation?
@jimbrodeur87113 жыл бұрын
I own a 52 Turf Tracer and 60 Lazer. Both X-series EFI. Hands down the zero turn is far faster and cuts better than the walk behind. BUT and it's a big BUT, the walk will mow things the zero can't. I live in NH and it's very hilly. The Turf Tracer destroys the sit down on hills and tight areas. Also much less turf damage when using the walk behind. If you mow big flat open areas and just want to knock out the yards, nothing beats a sit down zero turn.

Just wondering if you have ever experienced this issue and if you have any idea what might cause this.

Plus those Kohler engines are far superior to anything I've seen in 15 to 20 years of working in the industry. Granted the more companies seem to have been upset with the lack of issues that the Kohler engines have so they tried to change them and have caused many issues with the newest of the mowers from the Dealer's I've spoken with recently

@@BriansLawnMaintenance I ask because I own an exmark 60” deck but the frame is a fixed solid frame and I have a lot of wheel spin out even on the slightest of grades on corners. It’s a little more difficult with a walk behind and a velke, but you can still do one. The issue with that sulky is when you back up, it digs backwards into the turf I’ve noticed.
