For me the best way to overcome procrastination is to increase willpower. I can’t say I am a lazy person, but sometimes my goals don’t seem to be achievable to me((( and it makes me put off some essential steps Brian Tracy always motivates me and gives good opportunity to learn and practice my English skills ❤️

We love you Brian Tracy. You are a gold mine. You are full of wisedom and awesomeness. When i reach my biggest goal and along the way. I will keep praising you and your books. Here is a tip from me. I procrastinated a lot. But now i am fixing my life and here is what i do. When i have a task that i hate or think thay i hate doing i think of the end goal.. why am i doing it? It always turns out to be beneficial. So just focus on the end result. If it is something you just have to do to avoid a bad consequence like paying taxes then remember that paying them now is better than later they will add up more. Or you can try to ask your accountant what you can do. One tip is to measure the task in time. Like that gorilla or a task you have procrastinated for years will probably not take you more than 4 hours to complete. Challenge yourself to do it in less than 4 and start

Dear Brian, Thank you so much for your lovely video. 1- I am procrastinating on writing a paper because my professor and I are not thinking in the same line of interpreting the results of the experiments. I have written it twice, but he does not agree and asks me to make a story from the achieved results, which I can't entirely agree with his proposed story. 2- Recently, I've become interested in self-development materials and how to becoming the best version of myself and so forth. Once I want to start my daily tasks, I need to continue watching these types of motivational and educational videos. They have had a tremendously positive effect on my life, but at the same time, they are becoming the cause of procrastination. Wishing you all the best Fereidoon

Personally I have never been able to set SMART goals or get up before 6AM. I’ve tried and it just does not work for me. Instead, I wake up at 7 every morning and use systems instead of goals like meditating every day and making it a habit. Then adding something I enjoy after like making a cup of tea. But even though I do not agree with these two things, Brian Tracy is still an absolute legend, his message is true and his voice is so calming!

My biggest fault in procrastination is "Waiting to find the perfect time". There are a number of things that I've wanted to do in my personal life that I've put off, because the time "isn't right". So, instead I put other things ahead of things that I truly want to accomplish in my life. Recent events have taught me one thing. That is, life is short, and there is NEVER going to be a "PERFECT" time to do the things that really matter. Procrastination is the enemy of success. And now is the time to reach for what we, I, really want in this life. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Not next year. NOW!

How about a never ending task (coldcalling)? In Sales its nearly only this task if there are no sales calls or offers to write. So the thing to procrastinate on will never end and can't be done "first".

The worst procrastination is on things with no deadlines to them. When you put off tasks you know you should be doing, all you have is just poor management skills. When you dilly-dally on things you think you'll always have time to do, you may fail in life once you never really get down to them.
