Looked good fun. Was it just a day trip? I might have to take my rig out for a run some day like you did. Though I haven't lifted mine. Would you think it would have enough clearance. How would you reckon it would go with the low profile tyres?

You don't really need a lift for beach driving. My 2019 Outback on OEM wheels and tyres (225/60r18) touched the splash guard maybe twice in a week of beach fun, a mix of hard and really soft stuff. That said I won't do more serious bumpy stuff without getting an aluminium sump/engine guard first, but if you just want to do beach driving only without any kind of mudding, all that really matters is airing down the tyres (16psi - this really makes all the difference) and getting some tyres with grip on the corners (some all-terrains) to be able to steer in soft sand properly. Go slow and don't gun it and you'll be fine.
