Only one gang survived and that's Wah Ching who still operate today. In New York, the crackdown and arrests of Triad bosses happened much later in the 1990s. Then after 9/11, the ethnic Chinese street gangs pretty much died out. China Mac is from one of those extinct gangs. The Italian American Mafia largely stopped being relevant in the 1990s too. The Italian Canadian Mafia and the Italian Australian Mafia are very active though.

Then one of the oldest recorded gangs in LA is Temple St. (TST) which was started in the 1920's by Mexican and Filipino youths, whose territory runs through Historic Filipino Town in WLA, also known as the Rampart District. @DUDEfreestyle Dog Town was two different, successive gangs that occupied the same neighborhood. That don't make them the same gang. The original was an Italian crew pre-WW2 and the later was a Mexican crew. There are neighborhoods all over California and other states that used to have White gangs and then Black and Hispanic gangs formed when those families moved in and eventually the Whites moved out. You could pick any major city in the North and there's some neighborhoods that have had successive gangs there going back to the 1800s and early-1900s too.
