Good Lord Thank You! Thank You for taking the time to go over this. I been in my garage sitting on the darn thing trying to make it go w/o pedaling lol. My 1st ride. The thing they call Instruction Book/Owners Manual went right under my head. I just flew to the local corner store and back and man what great fun! Got mine for $699, free shipping and since I know nothing about ebikes. I paid an extra $53 for the Allstate Protection plan. Covers even normal wear and tear. Who knew anyone did that these days. Hope I don't need it. For a noob ebike. I love it. I ride motorcycles and that's really what I wanted, not the bike part of it. Just to scoot about and there's mtn bike trails next to my house. I just hike them b/c of the deer, but now I don't have to worry. I can ride to the trails, walk or ride them and ride back home. THANKS FOR ALL THAT AGAIN. I'll be coming back. I just wanted to get to the part to get me going, asap.

For those who can't adjust speed in +- menu when you enter the "+-" menu hold power button and + together on P1 untill screen flashes with 60kmh. The you can increase amps to 25... Other than that there's nothing you can do. Bike will top out at 27/28mph .

I don't see a setting for disabling the Pedal assist. You could dry to disconnecting the cadence sensor on the pedal crank at the controller to see if that works

I been holding the plus and negative buttons to bring up the advanced settings but it doesn’t bring me to the advanced settings theirs none of what your showing all that it’s displaying is a SP and four digits that are all set to 0 and allows me to change them between 1-9 but I think it’s the password setting that was in your video displayed as P9. . . . I don’t know if that made sense but is their a yollin device or Manuel that operates differently and I just got the wrong one? Or am I supposed to enter in this password so I can access the advanced settings? Because I don’t know how to do that.

Hello, I’ve bought mine Engwe m20 750W, but I’ve got one with the manufacture sticker saying it’s 250W. I’ve contacted Engwe and they are saying that my bike is actually 750W and “The 250w mark on this sticker is only for customs clearance”. Have you guys had the same problem? Does anyone know about "P8" - my display shows only "P8" and seems to be asking me for a 4-digit PIN code. I'm trapped on this screen and my ENGWE display is not activating the bike at all. I think I may have accidentally activated a PIN lock screen on my first ever ride on it because I was 10 miles from my house and couldn't remember how to switch the front and rear lights on. So I started pressing all kinds of + / - key combinations and + & - simultaneously - that displayed a flashing choice of P1 to P8 options. At P8 there was a no / yes question so out of curiosity I pressed "Y" for yes. After that the display refuses to let me move beyond this damned locked P8 screen that seems to want me to enter a 4-digit number. There's nothing about these P1-P8 screen displays in the user manual and nothing about PIN codes and what seems like a screen lock. So - has anyone had this P8 problem? Do all ENGWE ebikes have a unique PIN code ? Can I factory reset it to get rid of this screen lock that I've accidentally activated? Paul G

adjust wheel size to speedometer accuracy. Use GPS app on phone to confirm. I set mine to 22" which waqs accurate lower speed and high speed off by 2 mph

I managed to lock myself out on P8 , the release code is as advised 1212 however despite several frustrating attempts over some 30 minutes the code was not accepted. Then suddenly the unit decided it was right & allowed me to reset. Seems there is some kind of inherent fault.

Hello, P6 must be 20. Because of a controller maximum is 20 Ah. At 25 maybe heat your controller.
