E bike ENGWE M20 upgrade Shunt Mod

I love what you are doing. I was considering this bike, with upgrades in mind. So I decided to wait for the 2.0 version to be back in stock. It was just released and comes 52v. I plan to do some of the same upgrades you are doing. I'm in AZ as well, So I look forward to your progress because I will need the help when it's time to upgrade. The 2.0 came out literally a week after I bought mine which kind of sucks but it’s all good Yeah, I think all you need to do shunt mod it and your set. Pretty sure the controller may be different from the my version , But it shouldn’t be too difficult to figure it out. Hell yeah bro, go for a ride sometime

I have one too. Honestly think when I go to upgrade mine I'm just gonna get the same rear mag but with a bigger motor. You can get the same ones that's on our bike on ebay and they have 1000 2000 3000 and 5000. Now I'm sure I'm going to have to run a bigger battery but it's very doable on these m20s.

@@wolfreaperx222 hell yeah, the bike has a huge frame. I’m thinking about upgrading the rear hub motor to maybe not sure about the wattage but definitely I want 72 V I might end up making my own battery

@@Diy_Papi I'm not lying I'm honestly getting 30mph pretty consistently with everything stock. The only settings I've really "tweaked" any was changing the rim size to 24 in the settings. I've heard others say theirs was 23 but I honestly believe mine came at 24 and that the actual rim plus tire is more 24 than 23. I even measured. But I've not tweaked the controller or anything and I get 30mph most of the time. Well going with wind. Going against I still get 28-29. My biggest ordeal with this bike is getting the brakes dialed in. But after I learned, it's a piece of cake. I really would love to see one of these with that 72v 5000w mag on it. It's gonna be awesome. Be careful of you do. I have almost the same mirrors but I've not put em on scared their gonna mess with my speed. I have the plain black ones on the back like yours. Pretty cool.

Hell yea 72v would be sick! Actually with foot power I’ve gotten my wife’s stock M20 to 32MPH on a flat road. Mine is to heavy now, going to upgrade the suspension soon and then look into upgrading the hub motor. I might look into a controller upgrade first, I think that would be a smart first step for more power. The dual motor is nice when you need more speed or need to go up a steep hill. But it drains the two batteries, but I’m not trying to pedal haha

You could also put a CYC mid drive motor on it although that would make the hub pointless but it would have so much more power.

@@Diy_Papi you would definitely need special tools and the Photon would be a disappointment and X1 Pro is scary powerful from what I've seen.

I added a fan to my stock controller, also I switch of a lot between motors. Rarely do both run at the same time
