What is the formula required use to calculate how much bricks u need? Is it the same u would use to tile a floor?

Hi, it is the same method of calculation as tiles ( size of brick slip + required gap).

Usually for brickwork I would say 60 bricks per square metre, this of course depends on the size of the brick and the size of the joints but it will give you a good starting point, always add 10% to allow for breakages etc but with that you’ll be good to go!

It’s to keep it all plumb and level. If you get a framing level and mark off where you want the slips it makes it so much easier with a professional look to it
