Blimey Glenn if you took your shirt off the suns rays would make you invisible i don't mean that in a nasty way just observations. Glenn i have been watching your videos and your tips are great saving time, Time laying is money and that's your goal end of the day A blinding extension / Wall / House .The world is your oyster so the saying goes . Thank you for sharing i have been around ass-oles most of my adult life , My grandad was in the Navy and he came home from the war changed so my nan told me anyway to cut a long story short when i stayed at my nan's he would talk to me as if i was an adult i was 6 - 7 at the time he would tell me how to make stuff he had a bandsaw and Every Gadget out there he would come back from the Exhibition loaded up with gadgets and he would show me how to make Mortise & Tenon joints and he would say to me get a trade look about and if you chose something you would really like to do tell me i will help you, if you don't see yourself staying in that trade try something else but a city & Guilds in whatever in the Housing market and you won't want for anything work hard and you will be rewarded. Anyway the Gist is he would say if he was on a building site and a new bloke started to learn most of them when asked how to do something would turn round and say "Do what i did i didn't get any help I had to graft for my money and City & Guilds I had to learn on my own so don't try to live off of me asking me or anyone do what i had to and then turn around to the other blokes sneering saying Cheeky C- - t trying to earn off me picking my brain. And people around me were similar Ass - - les. Nowadays it's the opposite people posting videos' like yourself showing their tips and everything is there just got to type into Google "How do i do Whatever" and there are videos to help, The Times there are have changed. Bob Dylon innit LOL Much love for people like you who share tips to help you do a good job rather than "Don't ask me and hoping i would F- -k up " Cheer's Glenn have a great Day.

When you held the bottom of the stick on the DPC course do you just pick any course to mark the timber stick or do you slide the pencil up the stick till Mick sees in in the view finder on the automatic level
@glennveness3 жыл бұрын
I hold the baton with the bottom on the DPC. Then I slide the pencil up the baton till Mick sees it. I then put a line here to mark it. Then I hold a separate piece of baton upright on the corner I want to mark. I then slide the baton with the pencil mark on it up this baton. When Mick sees the pencil line, I know the bottom of this baton is the same level as the DPC. I hope that helps mate, glenn ps make sure you keep the first baton the same way up when transferring the level

I love your videos, but it's looks like it was filmed in the 1980's and I'm not just talking about the fashion! Well done, but god knows how you've created that vintage retro look with 4:3 ratio, washed out colours and a slightly out of focus look. Some film studios would pay a fortune to create this authentic look. I genuinely had to check the date.
