Merry Christmas 🎄 Gentlemen. Really top job and that house looks so much better now with a room instead of a garage, and will now be balanced upstairs Vs downstairs. Great to see you have a go with a mortar rake on the angle grinder. I was thinking there must be a catch like the tool doesn't last 5 mins. Also good to see the architrave cutter, don't know how I managed without one. They keep changing the blade fitting. Hi Steve i asked this on the last one. Why the air brick and cavity tray. That's a solid floor. I'm doing something similar on a shop front but dont see the need for the air brick. I may put a damp tray and weep holes in as it's a high front.
@mickgreen86723 жыл бұрын
yes I don't understand that if it's a solid floor you don't need air bricks less they are raising the floor inside with timber joists I suppose there is an explanation for it
@SteveAndAlexBuild3 жыл бұрын
@@mickgreen8672 Correct , it’s a floating timber floor inside to raise it level with the house . It’s also insulated so condensation could in theory form on the cold slab so the vents are for the void between the two floors . Also building regs asks for the vents and trays 👌🏼🧱👍🏼
