It was painful watching Steve struggling to carry those bricks with his bad hip! Any idea when it's going to get fixed?

I imagine, building this porch is not cheap for the customer, for such little gain in space. Would making it bigger not gain more space in relation to the overall cost? Or is it restricted by council as to the max size ?

If there should be any future sinking and cracking it won’t be the porch. I suspect the house will be the culprit. Good job mates

Hi Steve I've been off KZbin for a while and if it's not too personal to ask but have you had a hip replacement and left you with a permanent limp.

Setting out is always a ball ache, one thing slightly out and it can just bugger your day up! Methodical thought processes steve. Power to your elbow.

You would not think it would be so complicated to build a porch. This time it is been built professionally by Steve and Alex

You have my sympathy I put my steel in on my own. 5.5m long I-beam with two 8x2” timbers bolted through for hangers Knocked a hole in the outside wall and had to use a “come along” to slowly drag it in to house. Then two winches to lift on the padstones A sense of achievement though for one person
