Amazing introduction. I have watched so many bricks tutorials video coming from Elementor, but never felt comfortable. You broken it down very nicely. I did get bricks forge, it would be nice if you explain more about global classes and how to build a site that I can replicate quickly. Most importantly, color scheme and how primary, secondary colors impact the design. Maybe a different video I guess. I never leave comments, I felt compelled to let you know, you are a natural and a great teacher. Looking forward to more 🙏🏼

I was hoping for Cwicly to mature quicker but I'm not sure where to start with them. They've been making fundamental reworks of important features that should suit them well, some really advanced stuff, I can't wait. But, right now I need an Oxygen replacer and Bricks seems like a no-brainer. Like you, I can't think of a single reason not to embrace it.

btw css grid layout was implemented in december. the bricksbuilder development is really fast.

Breakdance is great. Easy as Elementor but much faster, comes with a lot of widgets right out of the box. The only downside is the owner can be a bit of a *&@* at times, getting short with people in the FB group and he literally cursed out his team (former Elementor designers) going on some tirade about how they don’t know what they’re doing. I can’t trust someone like that

Breakdance should not be supported. The owner is an asshole and can't be trusted. He sold Oxygen LTDs and then bailed on the project and started breakdance. He is a scammer.

Cool builder, but I always think its scary that the pricing is a one time fee which has no guarantees to provide enough funds to continue development in the future.

Hey Milos, I've tried breakdance and whilst I think it's actually quite good, I'm not exactly a huge fan of the company behind it. I'd much rather support bricks. Also, I prefer working with classes similar to how webflow does whereas breakdance doesn't suggest you work in that way. Having said all that, Breakdance does what it does well I can't deny 👍

@@sam-harrison you’re definitely not alone in that feeling. While the product is certainly interesting and has developed very quickly, the way in which the launch and o2’s future were handled doesn’t inspire ongoing company confidence.

Bricks works with classes and divs so other than bricks you could maybe look at cwicly which despite the ui, I quite like 👍

They've actually just released an animation feature which is pretty good, not quite webflow standards though. For Webflow style animations you'd need to use a plugin called motion.page which is absolutely fantastic and used gsap 👍

personally I'd go with bricks 👍 although you don't necessarily need either for a blog

@@BawlBag It's easy to use and it eliminated lots of plugins. Global styles are way better for easy and faster workflow. The woo integration is top notch,

I'm 2 minutes in and he says the section block might not be familiar to Elementor users... Elementor had the section block before Bricks' first Github commit. Show some respect.

I said “some of these elements” I didn’t say the section block. Elementor doesn’t use div elements and the flex container was still in beta when this video went out, which it was for a long time. Elementor is fine, but it is a more simplistic builder when compared bricks/Oxygen/webflow.

Oxygen is donkey garbage compared to Bricks. You can get stuff done x3 times faster in Bricks. I absolutely hate Oxygen, as an ex Oxygen user, lol. If you’re thinking of using it, don’t, use Bricks instead, it’s far more advanced.
