The no limit vehicles are soapbox cars. Very cool. Something we did as a kid. Made small cars that worked by gravity. Very nostalgic.

I really like all the recent Lego City sports cars. The designs and build techniques have been good for small sets, especially with the introduction of alot of new pieces that help make these cars look awesome.

In case youre not aware, Lego seems to be really hammering the vehicles across many themes next year. I think a lot of that has to do with the F1 partnership. So far many of these would look fantastic in the city. I really love the detail and added accesories on many of those minifigs. I think you could incoporate that mini 4+ firetruck and rescue ambulance in the country side. Maybe add a little fire/rescue/sheriff's station.

There is a massive push in Europe to get rid of single use plastics. Lego either had to make changes themselves, or wait until the legislation forced them to.

Hi Bricksie. Thank you for the reveal for 1/1/2025. Some lovely little sets there. The soapbox racers are delightful, and could add a nice story for the ramp. The trucks are super too, especially the camper van. I do think the scrapyard crusher is another potential story for your City. A lovely selection.

Have you got any other set themes for January 2025 apart from city I will buy city because my nephew loves anything with wheels to play with my nephew going on 3 soon but my favourites are marvel dc animal crossing Star Wars and Mario birick headz and Harry Potter but me in pm not a big city fan I do love sonic the hedgehog. My favourites character is tails my favourite trans former is bumblebee my favourite Disney character is Donald Duck daisy hewy lewy dewy and Mickey and Minnie Mouse and. Thumper. @@glennhealey3374 they are certified as recyclable in the USA, Canada and Europe. A cardboard box would maybe have been better, but it is a difficult trade off between the different materials. At the minimum it reduces the amount of plastics that gets into the environment.

I suspect the problem of paper polybags being damaged by shoppers will be worse in North America than in Europe. My sense - and it’s an impression rather than anything I can substantiate - is that Europeans damage goods less. North American chains like Walmart and Target seem to attract inconsiderate customers. I could be mistaken.

You are right on for america. I mean I have seen completely destroyed boxes at the store. Imagine a paper poly bag. Also I saw some person knock over a whole end shelf with one of those auto carts in Walmart. Part of the reason we rarely go there.

I don’t think the scrap yard set should be put aside lightly, it should be thrown with great force. 😂 With space at a premium in Lego cities and so many beautiful building designs, I can’t see why a scrap yard would be desirable. I see construction sites and this to be only a place holder at best in a city. Too many good looking sets for these types of sets in a Lego city. Jordan has more space than anyone but can still fill it up with nicer builds than these. Kids may enjoy scrapyard as a play set. To each their own , I suppose.
