Lukas P yeah I had the idea about a week ago to build the TOS enterprise 1:1 minifigures scale and quickly realized if it ever happened I’d have to be a millionaire. The saucer section alone would be as wide as a kitchen table is long. Maybe as wide as a dining room or wider. And I’d have no idea how to deal with the pylons and nacelles. And I’m talking about making each deck removable with every room and locks to keep it all in place. I can always dream though.

Lukas P yeah I’m thinking of maybe going with the NX-01 in the future instead. That way I wouldn’t have to worry about the secondary hull or the interconnecting dorsal, just the nacelles and pylons. I found deck plans online. But if I did build it I don’t know how I’d be able to have kids and build this thing at the same time. Maybe retirement in 40 or 50 years.

I made my own Enterprise out of Legos in which the Enterprises is still under construction and even has lego scaffolding around it to support it. IT IS HUGE! I made it so that you can look inside and see the Shuttle Bay, Engine Room, Docking Ports, Turbo Lifts, & even a bridge is visible once you lift the Dome. Would love to share with you my pic's. But not sure how to send.

It's good, but I can also see some compromises to the build. The pylons are a little "thicker" than it should be (among other things). The Mega bloks TOS version's only "con" was that the saucer isn't as "smooth" as this one. If it wasn't for that stand, it's easy to tell that it's very "fragile" by how wobbly that is. I can easily understand why it's only ever going to be a display piece that should be encased in a clear glass/plastic case.

There is quite literally hundreds of starship classes, equipment, shuttles, vehicles, buildings, starbases and more just waiting to be lego kits. Some people might think that Star trek is just the hero ships and a handful of alien ships but whoo boy. You have the; 22nd century intrepid class Delta type Delta flyer Akira class Steamrunner class Miranda class Norway class New orleans class Niagara class Challenger class Freedom class Akula class Excelsior class Excelsior refit Excelsior 2 Constitution 1-3 Intrepid class Galaxy class Saber class Sovereign class Nova class Ambassador class Nx class Protostar class Lamar class Duderstadt class Echelon class Constellation class Shepard class Engle class Crossfield class Malachowski class Type 9 shuttle Type 10 chaffe Type 8 and 8a Type 11 Danube class runabout Peregrine fighter Curry class Archer class Rigel class Prometheus class And so many more, and that's just starfleet Vulcans have d'kyr t'pol type Surak class Klingons have Various B'rel class variants K'vort class Raptor class Ktinga class D-7 D-3 Vorcha Negh'var And various other ships Other factions also have large rosters to choose from Equipment ranges from the tricorder to the bat'leth Buildings include starfleet academy all the way to the romulan senate Starbases are explanatory too... As a Star Trek fan, this Enterprise is pretty amazing, even if it's more of a display model you can't really play around with, but it really does look fragile, gotta be careful with it! But it's very nice, not easy to make Star Trek ships out of Lego I heard! Live long and prosper, Brickvault!

Well, the Enterprise-A does have one minor difference from the Enterprise-01 refit: color scheme. The Enterprise-01 was more of a bluish gray similar to the Enterprise-D of Star Trek: The Next Generation, while the Enterprise-A was more or less white, akin to the TV show original Enterprise-01.

Personally, I would have made the stand more arrow-head shaped so that it looked like the Starfleet insignia badge all officers wore on their uniforms, including the star in it's center. But that's just me. ;)

This looks great, but I need to say something. The Enterprise A is one of my least favorite Enterprises. It's the beautiful refit, but with an ugly -A slapped on to the end! Not to mention that it's about as reliable as a German transmission!

It's a good build, but in no way does it compare to the Mega Bloks build. Not enough smooth areas, nothing lights up, too many details are just... off. Don't get me wrong, it's a thing of beauty, but, when it comes to Mega Bloks' design for the original ship, it's not even close.

The Megablocks model is a different design of the enterprise as this mock, This is the Kelvin timeline enterprise and the megablocks is the TOS timeline enterprise, it'd be interesting to see what your version of the original or enterprise D from TNG would look like.

This is actually not the Kelvin timeline Enterprise, but the Enterprise A from the TOS movies (not the show), and it's still from the Prime timeline. Also, I agree about wanting to see a proper TOS Enterprise or just the D as well!
