For your "AT-AT vs Sandcrawler" debate : AT-AT. That's a military walker with surprising speed (60km/h top speed) against a slow mining crawler (30km/h top speed) (Source : Wookieepedia). As for armament, the Sandcrawler has nothing except the jawas inside. The AT-AT has twin laser cannons. Of course, give the Jawas about ten minutes unopposed, and they'll have the AT-AT disabled and its guts thrown across the desert. Good thing there are stormtroopers aboard to prevent that.

@cogtheprotogen66712 жыл бұрын
Sand crawlers are not slow in universe. Its definitely faster than a at-at. But an at-at does have empire grade weapons while the Sand crawler is essentially a trade vessel armed with nothing more than crew with blasters. Speaking of crew the Sand crawler has ALOT more. Basically it would come down to distance & environment. If their far away from eachother easy win for at-at as they excell at slow Aproaches, If their close to each other the Sand crawler would most likely win. And for environment mountains could provide cover and despite it being in the name at-ats are not all terrain, so there are many types of terrain that would either hinder or prevent it moving. In most situations with a environment not native to either the Sand crawler wins due to treads being better than legs. But! you don't care about all that, *TLDR:* You place the two vehicles at a fair distance in an open flat battlefield, Sand crawler wins more often. It will tank the first volley from the at-at, close the distance, & ram the at-at. the at-at might hit a critical system first volley, or not fall over from the ram, But I'd say like 87% of the time Sand crawler wins.

Why would you advertise this as "minifig scale"? It is clearly smaller than the minifig scale. Just look at the picture you provided yourself at 5:14 and look at the cockpit all the way up. On the blueprint, you can see that each level of the cockpits could fit at least two dozen Jawas. On the model, at 5:56 there is a room only for four Jawas...Next, take a look at the ramp on the blueprint, again on 5:14 and you can see there is enough space width-wise at the top, most wide part of the ramp that it can hold again at least two dozen Jawas side by side. On the model, at 5:05, the ramp can barely fit 8 Jawas at the same section, width-wise. The model needs to be bigger at least 2 - 2.5 times than it is now to be called "minifig scale".

@@brainzmech2971 As you said its just our opinions. But what i wanted to point out is, that you're just paying to look at some instructions on a computer, well i mean, yeah, in your opinion, if you see it that way fine, but what about the hundreds of hours that these guys put into putting that data on a computer? And again if you don't care about compensating people for their hard work, but only what your physically going to get, fine, but some people, such as my self appreciate what they have done, because otherwise, i or others would (if we ever could) have to work hundreds of hours to figure how to do this. I would rather pay $60 and and not have to, that is all. Whether i have the money to do this or not, is besides that point, we are talking about whether it's worth it or not. To be honest, i am not so much a "great" fan of Star Wars, I have always love their art work. I think they where way ahead of their time. I was their on release and was very impressed, again, not by the story, but by the fantastic futuristic art work.

Daniel Werner why would they break is reddish brown made of weaker plastic?
@danielwerner866 жыл бұрын
Yes, the pigment some colors are made of (reddish brown, but also burgundy and some lime green I think) makes the mold more fragile. Reddish brown is the worst case of it.

AT-AT would win because in the first movie, Storm troopers crippled the Sandcrawler with BLASTERS! Few shots from the AT-AT to the treads, and that thing is a sitting duck!

At-AT because it will use its orbital strike to destroy/disable the Sandcrawler.

Ryan Studios that’s just a battlefront thing, and it’s not even the at at doing the damage. The player simply calls in an orbital strike when using the at at, but it’s not one of the at ats actual weapons

$60,- for a pdf with a lego instruction... comedy
@lightningmcqueengaming75475 жыл бұрын
dXb you realize how many potential hundreds of man hours went into the creation of both this model, and the process of refining the build into something that could be easily laid out via instructions, right? Given the amount of effort and time that was likely sunk into this build, 60 dollars for the instructions is more than reasonable for an undertaking of this scale.

At at would smash through sandcrawlers armour as the sandcrawler is an old mining vehicle, and it could target the sandcrawlers wheels and disable it and then just finish it off
@TheGryxter4 жыл бұрын
Not a space weapons expert here, but I would think if you shot at the treads and made a good hit or two, the Sandcrawler would be disabled. Then the AT-AT could just take it's time shooting it to pieces. As the Jawa's came running out of a smoldering Crawler, you could just step on them like ants at a picnic. If some Tusken Raiders were some distance away, it would appear to them that the AT-AT was doing some sort of dance. Actually sounds kind of fun!
