Work is nice and neat . The only comment would be some sort of moisture control between masonry and below grade dirt. As you water plants constant water exposure with masonry will erode mortar joints over time. Other than that looks good.

It does look good but why didn't you use some squirt bricks for the corner that wasn't at 90 degrees rather than puttingin a straight joint. Also a double tile crease looks better than an overhanging course of brick. Your work is nice and clean though. But the jointing is dreadful due to using a Marshall town jointing tool better to use a WHS or Tyzack.
@SteveAndAlexBuild
@SteveAndAlexBuild 6 жыл бұрын
It all boils down to individual taste I suppose. I’ve been using Marshalltown jointers for as long as they have been around and never had a complaint about my jointing . As far as the oversailer I don’t like the tile ... too many joints and mortar going on for frost to get at . The straight joint on the corner was because the angle isn’t a standard 45 degrees so squint bricks weren’t suitable. Thanks for watching and commenting 🧱👍🏽

Steve and Alex as a third generation bricklayer having stated at the age of 16 ( 44 years in the trade) all I can say is " I am not perfect by any means but I always strive for perfection". Of course this is something that is never achievable as I can always see room for improvement in my own work. On. The whole I think the finished work looks well and most customers will be highly delighted. However, take it from me try one of the Suggested jointers and a thing called a rail runner something that was used extensively in Australia for long bed jointing. These suggest tools will make your good work look better. I am always looking to improve my work and if someone can do something I have not thought of I am more than happy to give it a try in case there is improvement in my finished product. Regards DD

How come you guys don't start doing a bit of talking in between building. I reckon you guys would get tons more subs and views. As your work is tidy 👍

01ozey01 . There are a few channels out there with most of them talking , we just decided to do things a bit different. To be honest we just film our work and upload it . We don’t make videos specifically for you tube and stopping and starting to talk to camera would disrupt our work too much . We have been uploading for just under 8 months so not been around very long so who knows things may change in the future . Thanks for watching and commenting pal 🧱👍🏼

Andrew W . We do try to put some normal speed footage in occasionally but this video covers 20 hours work so it does need condensing to fit it into approximately 15 mins . Thanks for watching and commenting 🧱👍🏼

minecraft king . Glad you like the Channel pal . We are trying to get more normal speed footage in . We have the time lapse in to fit as much of the project into a video around 13 mins long as possible . Too much normal speed can get a bit boring . We are working on it . Thanks for the feedback pal 🧱👍🏽
