Not sure why this “across the ocean” stuff keeps getting repeated. It got relocated to the old spaceport, you can see it glowing ingame as it builds charge, it’s shown on the debrief map, and said in the debrief meeting.

I love how early the game gives you a Pilebunker, so that when Raven shows up with one you realize how much danger you're in if you've been using it up until that point.

I did not bother to git gud with the stake, went for dual trigger style of pew pew. So it was a pleasant surprise when first encounter ever with this guy i ate songbird and missiles into staggered and he slid up to me nice and cozy and deleted my whole 60% AP.

Yeah, and thats the games difficulty slider. Want to play on easy mode? Zimms and Songbirds. Wanna play on Medium? off meta, mobile frame with some health. Play on hard mode? melee build on very lightweight frame. Its astounding how many people cant figure that shit out.

​@@cyanide7270but why choose to damage the variety for players who are good at the game? I didn't learn about the zimmermann meta until after I used it cause double shotguns sounded fun. But now I don't want to touch them because it makes the game boring and there's now a hole in the roster that didn't need to be there. If it's allegedly a difficulty option it should be available from the beginning cause if you can't get past Balteus you're never gonna beat this game, especially post nerf.

Ice Worm is great because it’s both a gimmick fight, and reasonably challenging. For extra challenge (and a laugh) don’t take the stun needle. You can still break the shield with conventional weapons, it’s just harder.

The attack the redguns mission is one of the hardest missions in the WHOLE game. NG++ now it still pisses me off. But Michigan's lines make it bareable lmao. You should try that next playthrough.

I think the closest thing that lets you keep the Stormruler's "effect" outside of a specific fight is Dragonflash in Sekiro. You have to beat the final boss, but you can use it in NG+

Idk man Serpent Hunter has a A strength scaling and an ash of war that hits like a truck even outside the fight. Its definitely one of the best pure strength weapons to use even outside the fight.

Zimmerman was broken, it was the best weapon in every single context, there isnt a single fight that counters the shotgun. Post nerf it remain one of the best weapons in the game. I fought Ibis post nerf and it still was easy

zimmermans are sometimes suboptimal compared with missiles and machineguns against mid tier fodder enemies who are spread out because of its limited range, however it still does good enough, its just annoying having to get in range and kill them all one at a time. on everything meant to actually be difficult, zimmermans are pretty braindead op. i occasionally find myself going "i wish i had a minigun right now" when using them, but for 90% of situations in the game, zimmermans are king (everything i said for zimmermans can be said more or less for all shotgun like weapons because the zimmarmans are just a standout among a class of naturally strong weapons)
